I got the new Terry Pratchett book today. Husband had ordered it as a surprise. Read solidly from 9 am to 11am and started again at about 5pm. Finished it by 7:30. Totally amazing. I know a lot of people moan about how the quality of his books has gone down, but I disagree. I believe his writing has matured, and there is a deep philosophical vein, which whilst present in his earlier books, has now developed into themes that really make you think.

And if it wasn't a completely sad thing to do I'd have a crush on Sam Vines. *giggle*
