The story behind your lj user name.
When making a card for a friends wedding, I wanted to make it look more professional by having a "design by" sticker on the back, and browsed Encyclopedia Mythica looking for a suitable. I came across Amaltheia and recognised the character from a book I'd loved "Lord of the Crooked Paths", and liked that the name meant Tender. I slowly started using it as my online alias, as my old one was based on my real name. I've now come to totally identify myself as Amaltheia, (or Ama depending where I am) when I'm online. My husband hates it though as he says he can't spell it.

No. Married to a man, but if anything were to happen between us, I wouldn't rule out a relationship with a woman. I get crushes equally on women as I do on men.
