More Boomtown inspired thoughts

OK, where's my post Boomtown fic?

I mean it.  I want my Doctor/Rose/Jack fic.  'ship or friendship, I'm not fussy. (I just have to mention wildecat's Teaser. Very hot)

Very sad there's only two episodes left. (Is Jack in the next series, or episode 13 his last?).  In fact I think to a certain extent I'm already in mourning for this little threesome team that has so much potential.  And I do feel a bit cheated that there's all this history that's happened off screen.  I've always been a sucker for teams that become they're their own contained little families - one of the reasons why I like NCIS so much. Which is also why I don't tend to ship pairings in my team fandoms - it elevates the importance of the shippy couple and everyone else gets relegated into the background. And this is why I know I'm going to be equally happy with Doctor/Rose/Jack whether it's ship or friendship - because no-one is getting excluded or left behind and the family is intact.


In fact, I've been re-watching Boomtown this morning, dwelling on every comment and glance between the three of them, such as the look Jack gives the Doctor when he says they can wait, or the flirting between the Doctor and Jack, or the expressions on the Doctor and Jack's faces every time Margaret the Slitheen squeezes Rose's throat just that bit tighter. I've never done that with any other ship, (romantic or otherwise), so this is all new territory for me. Let the obession commence!

Also Bad Wolf speculation - I'm leaning more and more towards someone trying to get a message to the Doctor, a warning.  I'm split between another Time Lord who can't get get a warning through any other way, due to the telephathic link being severed, or the Tardis. (And there's certainly more foreshadowing for the Tardis than for another Time Lord)

I can't tell you how much I need to read some Doctor/Rose/Jack.

*I can't write porn to save my life, but I do try to read porn (specific fanfic porn) wherever possible. I have some rather hot threesome PWP on my Sony Ericson P900, which I take subversive pleasure in reading at NCT coffee mornings and the like. (I'm a shallow, petty person)
