Someone posted a snotty answer to a question I asked on the Age of Mythology Heaven Forum. I'm now trying really, really hard not to reply, because -

a) I don't want to start an argument

b) They probably didn't mean it in the way I took it.

But I'm still peed off.

Oh sod it -

My Question

I'm trying to set up a trigger so that when a unit reaches a relic, it starts snowing.

I've used the condition Unit in Area, but am confused by the variables it asks for - Player (Does this mean only the units of one specific player can trigger the effect?), Unit Type, Radius, (What units is this in? Pixels?) Operator & Count(What is it counting).

I've then used Effect Render Snow, but am unsure what the percentage referrs to.

Shadows' answer and the reply I won't make

Alright...I have no idea though how many times I've explained this though... I trawled through all the relevant forums on both AoM Center & Heaven forums, and couldn't find this info. You've obviously explained it lots and lots of times.

Unit in Area works like so.

Player: The player which is will be in this paticular area If I get past the grammar, I think I understand what they mean...
Unit Type: Considering this effect will activate if ANY player objects enter the area, unit type is very useful. You can have it activate only to certain units. Such as Toxotes, Raiding Cavalry or whatnot. Or you can leave it to default, which accepts everything.OK answered my question here.
Center Unit: In AoM they use Units to refer to areas, Basically, when setting your area you have to use a unit to determine that area. Using Cinemactic blocks, which are invisable during gameplay, are a good idea. Didn't ask for this. Worked it out on my own
Radius: Simple, how large the area will be.If you read my question carefully, you'll note I actually asked for the units. Did manage to grasp all by myself the concept of radii.
Operator: Wait...now didn't you pay attention in Math class? The alligator eats the weak one and so on? Well, no I didn't. What with attention deficit disorder and dyslexia. Still did pretty well at maths though - didn't drop out until just before my A-levels. (Again note I didn't ask for info on this)

<: less="Less" than="Than">: Greater Than
<= : Less or Equal to
>=: Greater or Equal To.

The Render Snow Percentages I've assumed ment how much snow fell. Atleast, this is my presumption
