And the sun came out
Mar. 19th, 2005 11:56 pmWhen someone you haven't seen for six months tells you that you're looking good, it's rather nice.
When another person you haven't seen for six months tell you you're looking really good, you take the compliment and move on.
When a further four or five people tell you how good you're looking, you start getting a little paranoid.
Seriously guys, last October? Did I look like the walking dead or something?

Moving on to other news, I came across this line in a ridiculously bad piece of NCIS fanfiction, and completely fell in love with it –
“If you can shoot a teddy bear, you can shoot an ambassador.”
Tell me that’s not the best line in the history of bad fanfiction, ever.

If someone could arrange for today’s weather to repeat for the next two weeks, I’d be very happy. It was so warm to today, I had to get sun hats for the boys, and break out the sun cream, which is something you just don’t think you’re going to need to do in March. We ended up having a barbeque at my parents for lunch today, which considering two weeks ago we had sleet, is not bad going. I also got to catch up with my sister, as she was out with Sky and Summer, which was good as we haven’t really seen each other for a few weeks, and for all we bitch and moan at each other we’re pretty close.
All in all, life at the moment, is better than it has been for a while.
