I have fish!
Sep. 4th, 2004 11:29 pmActually I don't. I have a fish tank, and some water, and some gravel and some plastic plants and some resin driftwood. And most importantly of all, some bacteria. And if the bacteria multiples as it should do, in nine days time I will have some fish.
I am extremely excited by this, although also somewhat nervous as fish-keeping seems a lot more complicated now than when I was a child, and you just threw a couple of fish you won at the fair into a tank and chucked food at them every few days.
But I'm being a very good girl, reading lots of articles about fish-keepinging and listening studiously to the nice man at the aquatic centre. Hopefully they'll have a longer life expectancy than the fairground fish did.
