Glug

I went to Aqua-aerobics for the first time tonight. It was really good fun and I now feel virtuous, but wiped out.

The woman leading the class, was insane and seemed to forget we were in water, and so unable to to double-beat kicks, but after the first five minutes I stopped worrying about it and did things at my own speed. I also stopped worry that the life guard was watching me and laughing at my pathetic attempts to keep my balance in the water. It did help that as I wasn't wearing my glasses I could see easily how everyone else was managing it.

I also discovered the disadvantage of being on the right hand side of the class, (ie the deep end) in that the class as a whole tended to drift to the right, meaning I was soon desperately trying to keep my head above water. My friends were OK, as they're all about a foot taller than me.

God knows how much pool water I swallowed.
