(I posted the Hathor and Rebecca Allen links, but never went back to the thread as it made me too angry. See the link for Girl Wonder, have a look and then Simon's pulling the same shit all over again. I'm sure that by tomorrow morning you'll be able to fill your racism bingo card as well).

ETA I pulled those quotes because they are either mods, or in the case of bix! people with a huge amount of credibility and respect at Whedonesque.

I made the post to Whedonesque, because in the 800+ comments thread of doom, I'd not seen one mention of the problematic feminist issues. I made the post just before I went to bed, and came downstairs to 140 + comments.

Sat down to read them, then had to go for a walk because I felt sick and upset. I was planning to go back and try and answer some of the criticisms toward the articles, but there was too much. And the sheer gall of simonf here when he's the mod of of a site devoted to anything to do with fucking Joss Whedon. Well. I saw red.

*nodding* Seriously, seeing the number of people attacking those daring to have an opinion that Dr. Horrible is not so much with the feminist is... God, it's appalling. I'm ill.

Disagreement is one thing, but actively attacking people who don't see things your way makes me get my cranky liberal feminist card out even faster. Stop trying to quash valid opinions with your bullshit attacks, people!

BTW, feel free to unscreen my intial comment. I appreciate the screening after making the post public, though. :)
